Energy Knee

This energy storing knee enables above the knee amputees to enjoy  an active lifestyle. It features a microprocessor and solenoid valve that regulates flow from the main cylinder to the two accumulators. The microprocessor monitors knee displacement, velocity, and ankle load. It uses these inputs to control the knee by making decisions about how to regulate the solenoid valve thus regulating knee movement
